Figuring Out BOX 160

BOX 160 wants you to believe that micro-housing can be done right, using the right materials, aesthetic and storage solutions.

I, on the other hand, want you to believe that BOX 160 is something worth looking into. It’s not a novel idea by any means, go on Pinterest and search “Tiny Shipping Container homes, i bet you see a lot, but i want to offer something special with this product, and it’s gonna involve options. It’s gonna be a detailed example of a shipping container home you could get a builder to build, just off the drawings this product would provide.

What i want BOX 160 to be

BOX 160 is the first of a series that explores shipping container homes, and I’m trying to get it to a place where BOX 160 can be sold as a product in that category.

That means figuring out every aspect of the design, from what foundations it can sit on, to how to make the container “not sweat”, to how much this thing could get built for, because the goal is that people get to build this thing, or at least a version of it.

Tons of work is going into this project, from research (watching YouTube videos of successful container home builds), design (lots of Ctrl Z and creative blocks) to documentation (creating drawing sets that explain every aspect of the product) to content creation. So far you can see the progress here

To give more context on the series, BOX 160 is named as is because it’s a 160 square foot single 20’ shipping container dwelling, BOX 320 for example will be a 320 square foot 40’ shipping container home.

Other Stuff

I’m preparing documentation for the product i want BOX 160 to be, while also creating content for social media reach, which also creating marketing renderings, but it’s all gonna come together beautifully.

In a while, anyone could visit this website, check out the product and understand the vision.

But for now, I’m still figuring out BOX 160.
