Why shipping containers?

Modular

Shipping containers are standardized and highly modular, making them perfect for stacking, rearranging, and prefabrication. This enables faster and clean construction.

Available

Since containers are often repurposed from freight shipping, you can get a shipping container pretty much anywhere freight shipping happens.

Sustainable

A single 20' ISO shipping container repurposes up to 2,500 kg of steel, reducing demand for new materials, but bear in mind that a shipping container home would still require internal framing and insulation.

Scalable

Container dimensions drive inventive spatial layouts. Residentially, you can build anyting from tiny studios to community clusters.
